Are you in

Introduction

"Are you in" is a hobby project to make life a bit easier for team captains. It automatically sends reminders to team members upcoming matches and asks them whether they are able to come along.

Result

During the initial release of "Are you in", the WhatsApp Business API had not yet been officially released. For this reason, the initial version uses SMS instead of Whatsapp to ask team players about their attendance.

This is how it works:

1. The event admin adds an event to Are you in.
2. Team members get an SMS with two links. By clicking on one of the two links, they can choose to say, "Yes, I'm in" or "No, I'm not".
3. The event admin gets notified after each email response. The email includes a summary of who's in and who's not.
